Ayarin Joe – Engineering
“As an engineering Intern , being a part of Uisce Éireann has been a very rewarding and enlightening experience. I was given the opportunity to meaningful projects across Ireland and see all different aspects of works Uisce Éireann does that directly affects communities across Ireland. Being a part of 1.6m Ballymore Eustace to Saggart Trunkmain Repair in the Greater Dublin Area was the highlight of my internship period. The balance of office works and on-site visits helped strengthen my learning experience and made me understand how multidisciplinary teams work together efficiently. I was able to hone my technical skills alongside active collaboration and communication . Uisce Éireann is such a lovely organisation with such outgoing and friendly group of people to work with. I feel more confident , motivated, and inspired about my future in engineering after the completion of my internship here. I can’t wait to tell everyone how great of an opportunity it was to have worked with Uisce Éireann.”
Dipendra - IT

I work in IT Build & Delivery department where we work on projects to deliver applications within the company to increase efficiency of systems and services Uisce Éireann provides to its customers. “My time at Uisce Éireann has been extremely positive. The work environment is supportive and kind. I feel that the work here allows for on-site learning and self-growth. I’ve got to work with so many accomplished people and the work is fulfilling as you can see the impact it makes to society. Before starting my internship, I had no idea how broad a career in water services could be. It has really opened my eyes into how many paths are available to me. I feel that these types of programmes for young students and graduates really help to bridge that gap between education and career.”
