Crews working to restore supply to customers in Ironmills area

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore supplies to customers in the Ironmills area following an interruption at the water treatment plant which has resulted in low reservoir levels.

Areas impacted include Cappawhite, Glengar, Annacarty, Dundrum, Knockavilla, Donohill and surrounding areas.

Uisce Éireann’s Pierce Faherty has assured customers that every effort is being made to restore a full water supply as quickly as possible.

“Every effort is being made to restore a full and reliable water supply as quickly as possible. We understand the inconvenience that an unplanned outage can cause, and we thank impacted customers for their understanding and patience while our crews work to restore normal water supply.”

Supplies are expected to be restored by 11pm this evening. However, it may take longer for normal supply to be restored to customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system recharges.
