Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore normal supply to customers on the Hollyford Water Supply Scheme in Co Tipperary who have been affected by an unplanned outage this morning.

Approximately 300 Uisce Éireann customers on the Hollyford scheme have been impacted by this outage, which has been caused by a mechanical interruption at the Water Treatment Plant.

Crews are currently working to resolve the issue at the plant and to restore full supply to affected homes and businesses as soon as possible.

Pierce Faherty, Uisce Éireann Water Operations Manager, said repairs are currently ongoing and thanked impacted customers for their understanding.

“We acknowledge the inconvenience that can be caused by unplanned outage such as this,” said Pierce. “We want to assure impacted homes and businesses that all efforts are being made to resolve this issue and restore supply as efficiently as possible.”
